Powderhorn 2:36P.M.-3:50P.M. Vertical: 1,650 feet
While everyone followed local TV cameras down a groomed blue run, Fred Fischer and I followed Powderhorn ski instructor, Kate Huster, to a little gladed area called Ya-Hoo. With 12-inches of fresh, we laughed out loud as snow billowed over our knees making for the occasional face shot. At the bottom, the others were jealous to learn that while they were chasing the camera, we were chasing powder.
