Children will also enjoy the “Kids’ Karnival” featuring a ring toss, baseball throw, skeeball, clowns, face painting, and more. Adults can also come to the Beer Garden as four Colorado brewers celebrate Oktoberfest 2000 Brews. Additionally, more than 50 miles of lift-accessed mountain biking and hiking trails will be open. Guests can also ride up the Zephyr Express chair lift to view fall foliage along the Continental Divide.

Taos Ski Valley will host its first Oktoberfest this year in recognition of its German and European heritage. Events include live entertainment from Innsbruck, Austria, Albuquerque’s Schuhplatter Dancers, costume contests, a yodeling contest, and much more. Revelers can also take a chair lift up the mountain to get a closer look at the bountiful fall colors. All the while booths will be serving plenty of food, beer, and wine.

Snowbird’s 28th annual Oktoberfest begins on September 2 and events run every weekend until October 8. Each weekend holds traditional events geared towards either kids, families, or college students.
