Class Act
Lindenmeyr Travel has come up with an Austrian deal that’s both luxurious and affordable. It includes round-trip airfare from New York or Boston to Zurich on Swiss Air, coach transfers, seven nights’ accommodations at the four-star, ski-in/ski-out Hotel Angela in Lech, and a six-day ski pass good at St. Anton, St. Christoph, Zurs, Stuben and Lech. Lindenmeyr further sweetens the deal by including a daily buffet breakfast, afternoon tea and a six-course dinner. There’s also an eighth night in Zurich at the Hotel Zum Storchen before departure. The price, per person, based on double occupancy, ranges from $1,810 in January to $2,020 in February. Lindenmeyr Travel: (800) 248-2807.

Sleeping In Sunday
Sunday River, better known for skiing than pampering, is making a move toward luxury with the opening of the Jordan Grand Hotel & Crown Club. Located at the base of Jordan Bowl, this 200-room hotel will offer studios as well as one- and two-bedroom units, most with a full kitchen and home-entertainment system. There’s a heated outdoor pool, a full-service health club, two restaurants, on-site child care and valet parking. Prices for studios start at $109 per night, but a five-night package at $399, including five days of lift tickets, is the way to go. Sunday River Vacations: (800) 543-2SKI.
