Area Description:
Bariloche is a quaint Swiss-like ski town often considered the cradle of South American skiing. Bariloche, located in the heart of Argentina’s Patagonia, is the gateway to the ski area “Gran Catedral.” The area offers skiable terrain for all levels of ability, but the summit, known as the Piedra del Condor, is the destination for true challenge-seekers. Here, wide-open snowfields and long gullies, all above timberline, make for a reliable, ever-evolving adventure.
