Ski Season Dates: June 16-late August

Area Description:
If you’re an expert skier, consider Las Leñas the perfect ski destination serving some of the most challenging terrain in the world. The area’s 4,000 acres, featuring uncrowded powder-covered slopes, are all above timberline. Huge open bowls and super-steep avalanche chutes will raise even the most accomplished skier’s heart rate. That’s not to say that there isn’t a variety of beginner and intermediate terrain. The entire bottom half of the mountain is dedicated to these beginning and mid-level winter enthusiasts.
