Ski Season Dates: early June-October 1

Area Description:
Everyone, from the total beginner to the most extreme skier, will be content at Mount Hotham, also know as the “powder capital” of Australia. With a base elevation of 5,740-feet, Mount Hotham is Victoria’s highest ski area consisting of 605 acres of terrain. Unique to this village, the lodges at Mt. Hotham are situated on the snow peaks with trails twisting down through the village to their 13 lifts. Mount Hotham is inter-connected to Falls Creek, so transportation between the two via coach service or an inter-resort helicopter is readily available.

Spotlight on Deals:
The Mount Hotham web-site (www.mthotham.com.au/mthm_accom1.htm) offers a variety of custom packages. Prices vary depending on dates and availability. Note that since the two areas are inter-connected, the same ski packages can be used for skiing at either Falls Creek or Mount Hotham.

The Falls Creek web-site (www.skifallscreek.com.au/) offers a variety of custom packages. Prices vary depending on dates and availability.
