Ski Season Dates: June 24-mid October

Area Description:
Across the valley from Coronet Peak, The Remarkables is considered Queenstown’s true alpine ski area. Made up of three sunny yet sheltered bowls, the area is known for its friendly atmosphere and relaxed feel. It also offers up a great array of runs for the beginning skier plus some of the longest off-piste runs around. Whatever path you chose, the Remarkables is the ideal place to make the most of winter’s offerings.

There are no lodging facilities at the base of The Remarkables, so staying in Queenstown is a must.

Spotlight on Deals:
Since the packages from Travel.com.au feature flexi passes that are valid at a variety of areas, the package for Coronet can also be applicable at The Remarkables. Visit gateway.travel.com.au/ski/ for more details.

The Remarkables web-site (www.nzski.com/nzskicom/framesets/top_travelguide.htm) offers a variety of custom packages. Prices vary depending on dates and availability.
