The Mammoth Three Way Challenge

Mammoth Mountain had a record year for snowfall, which means they’ll be open through July 5. Even though they have snow, its still summer, and they’re opening their Mountain Bike Park on June 25. Mountain biking and skiing in the same day—an outdoor enthusiast’s dream come true. To make things even better, The Sierra Star golf course, located just five miles from Mammoth Mountain opened June 11, and is collaborating with the mountain for 10 days to provide skiers with discounted golfing if they skied that day. If you’re up for taking things to the next level try the “Three Way Challenge.” This one day ticket will get you unlimited skiing and mountain biking, and nine holes of golf at Sierra Star all in the same day. If mountain biking isn’t your thing, or you can’t wait until the 25th, you can still golf and ski on the same day on the cheap with the “two-way.” To tackle the three-way, get to the slopes early—lifts open at 7:30 a.m.—so the snow doesn’t soften up too much. When you’re done shredding for the day, head down to the car and grab your bike so you can hit the features on one of the seven new freeride trails at The Mountain Bike Park. Later change into your golf-appropriate attire and drive the quick five miles to The Sierra Star Golf Course where your lift ticket will get you nine holes. Think this deal couldn’t get any better?
