You first saw them in a magazine ad or on a ski shop poster. The Lange Girls. All flowing hair and tight ski suits zipped down to there. Sexy women who ski! Politically correct? Not these days-but certainly the zenith of womanhood in many a young man’s estimation. If skiing is the interplay of hips, legs and thighs, the Lange Girls embodied the sport-literally. Each image gave us hope of finding the real thing. Maybe on this lift ride. Or on the next run. But we never did meet her. Did you?
