Arapahoe Basin Celebrates 5th Annual Festival of the Brewpubs

Arapahoe Basin, CO – (News Release) – On Sunday, May 28, Arapahoe Basin will be hosting the fifth annual Festival of the Brewpubs. Five local Summit County breweries will be sampling their favorite hand crafted ales. Brewpubs include Backcountry, Breckenridge, Dillon Dam, Pug Ryan’s and the Great Northern Tavern.
A $15 14 oz. souvenir mug can be purchased for unlimited tasting from noon until 4:00 p.m. or while supplies last. (Must be 21 years of age.)
A DJ from Jamin’ Sounds will be spinning tunes in the base area from 11:00 a.m. — 1:00 p.m. Live music starts at 1:00 p.m. with reggae artist Jubal on the ticket office front steps.
A-Basin has received over 344″ this season and the spring skiing and riding conditions are still great with 2″ new over night! A-Basin currently has a solid 46″ midway base and is open from 8:30 a.m. weekends and 9 a.m. weekdays until 4:00 p.m.
Currently, lifts are serving 45% of the terrain. All skier services are available including ski and board rentals, ski school, retail shop, café and bar. For rails, jumps, bumps and thrills, the Mutha’ Hucker Terrain Park caters to all.
At 10,800 feet A-Basin encourages drinking responsibly. Free soda and water will be available for designated drivers. Dogs must be on a leash. Helmets are not required for this event.
