Aspen/Snowmass, Colo., January 5, 2005 — Aspen/Snowmass received another foot of snow blanketing all four mountains— Snowmass, Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk — with fresh powder.
The large flakes of snow began to fall around 1pm yesterday and is still coming down. In the last 24 hours Snowmass and Buttermilk have each received a foot of snow, Aspen Mountain saw 7 inches and Aspen Highlands got six inches. In the last week, Snowmass has accumulated 27 inches, Buttermilk has received 21 inches, while Aspen Mountain and Aspen Highlands are boasting 20 new inches in the last seven days.
Snow is expected to continue throughout the week and into the weekend.
