In mountain towns culture often arrives as an annual event. Jackson’s taste of intellectualism descends from June 5 through June 8 at the 5th Annual Jackson Hole Film Festival. And, with more than 100 films representing 30 countries, countless red-carpet events, 12 world premieres, the 2008 Global Insight Summit and a welcome address by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, it’s easy to get over-stimulated by all the cinematic hoopla.
Yet, even with such an inspiring selection of happenings, our favorite genre will have its moment in the festival spotlight. As presenting sports-action sponsor of the festival, Cloudveil reminds JHFF attendees who ski, surf and ride that these three marquee events should not be missed:
