Snowbird, Utah (News Release, April 15, 2003) Easter gets an early start Sunday, April 20, at Snowbird with a free 6:45 a.m. Sunrise Service featuring Pastor Ron Williams and aPresbyterian Youth Choir performing on Hidden Peak. Easter festivities continue at 9 a.m. with the annual free children’s Easter Egg Hunt onChickadee Run and an on-mountain Easter Egg Hunt for adults.
The Atrium Restaurant in Snowbird’s Cliff Lodge offers an Easter breakfastbuffet from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and Easter Brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.The Forklift restaurant on the Snowbird Plaza Deck is also open forbreakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Easter Sunrise Service
Free Tram rides to Hidden Peak begin at 5:15 a.m. with the last Tramdeparting the Snowbird Center at 6:30 a.m. The Sunrise Service begins at6:45 a.m. Should weather not cooperate, the service will be held on thePlaza Deck or in the nearby Rendezvous Room. Complimentary coffee and hotchocolate will be served.
Easter Egg Hunt
The free Easter Egg Hunt for children up to 11 years of age takes place onthe Chickadee run and will feature the Easter Bunny. The hunt begins at 9a.m. and participants should meet on the Plaza Deck. New this year, therewill be an on-mountain adult Easter Egg Hunt that will last until all eggshave been found.
Easter Breakfast/Brunch
The Atrium Restaurant in the Cliff Lodge will offer an Easter Buffetbeginning at 7 a.m. and Easter Brunch will be offered from 10:30 a.m. to 2p.m. The Forklift restaurant on the Plaza Deck will begin serving breakfastat 7:30 a.m.
Spring skiing and snowboarding is scheduled to continue into May at Snowbirdwith discount tickets available beginning April 21.
