Ruby Mountain Helicopter Skiing
is located in northwest Nevada’s Great Basin, between the Sierra Nevada and Wasatch Mountains, about five hours from Reno and four hours from Salt Lake City. Three-day packages guarantee 39,000 vertical feet of heliskiing (or catskiing, if weather prohibits flying) on 500 square miles, January through March, for $3,050 per person, double occupancy. Room, meals (except arrival-night dinner), guides and ski rentals are included.

Lodging
Reds Ranch, a rustic lodge at the base of Ruby Mountain, features a log-beamed great room, stone fireplaces, a billiard room and a library. Guest rooms all have private baths.
