3rd Annual Dogterra Event (March 5, 2006)
The Dogterra Events is a canine, skier, and snowshoe multi-sport event to benefit the League for Animals and People of the Summit. Fun and competitive events include ski and snowshoe races, an obstacle course, Frisbee catch and look-alike competitions. This event will take place at the Gold Run Nordic Center, 200 Clubhouse Dr. Call 970-547-7889 or 970-262-0451 for more details.
Spring Break from $827 per person – A Full Week of March Madness
Stay six nights and ski or ride six days and get the seventh day and night free. This package offers lodging and lift tickets for less than lodging alone. Working Women’s Weekend (March 2-4, 2006)
Play hooky for two days and join the ladies for a special getaway. Spend two full days on the slopes advancing skiing techniques and learning in this supportive, female-only environment. The more advanced, adventurous skiers can take advantage of the new Imperial Express SuperChair that services terrain previously only accessed by hiking. Unwind after skiing with fellow participants, or explore the many nightlife options in town. The camp gets started with a Welcome Reception the evening of March 2. Breckenridge Ski Resort Fast Fun Fact
Left out of the Louisiana Purchase and Texas Annexation, Breckenridge bestowed upon itself the title of “Kingdom.” As a result, Breckenridge did not officially become part of the United Sates until 1936, casting it in the unique position of simultaneously being one of the Western United States’ oldest and newest communities.
Rocky Mountain Park & Pipe Camp (March 4-5, 2006)
This camp offers participants a chance to experience and improve their skills in one of the most highly rated and well know parks and pipes in the country.
