Kids Ski Free At Sugarloaf/USA During Children's Festival Week

CARRABASSETT VALLEY, Maine (News Release) – From January 13 through January 17th, the annual Children’s Festival Week provides great lodging discounts and the free tickets, rentals and Perfect Kids„¢ Programs for children ages 12 andunder, when 3 midweek nights of lodging are booked. In addition, this week has a wide variety of nightly events offered.

The fun starts on Monday night with Sugarloaf’s traditional Torchlight Parade followed by fireworks outside the Base Lodge at 6 p.m. Tuesday night offers the Peanut Carnival for just $3 in the King Pine Room at the Base Lodge from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., featuring various games and activitiesincluding a ball pit and face painting. On Wednesday night, a family entertainment show will be held in the King Pine Room. Thursday night isMovie Night in the Mountain Magic room for kids ages 5-10, or parents can also enjoy some free time by bringing their children ages 1-5 to the Pajama Party in the child care center from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Reservations for thePajama Party must be made by noon of that day.Additionally, Turbo Tubing is offered on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
