Killington Announces All-For-One Pass

KILLINGTON, Vt. (Sept. 14, 2004) – American Skiing Company announced new pricing this week for its ALL FOR ONE season passes, which are valid at its six eastern resorts including Killington and Pico for the 2004-2005 season. The flagship Bronze pass was increased to $379. A limited number of these passes will be available while quantities last or until October 25, 2004.

The ALL FOR ONE PASS is valid for the 2004-2005 season at Sunday River and Sugarloaf/USA in Maine, Killington, Mount Snow/Haystack and Pico in Vermont, and Attitash in New Hampshire. The Bronze pass has 14 blackout days spread across the season, and the Gold pass now priced at $699 is unlimited. The Silver pass with 10 black-out dates is now $429 and the Platinum pass, which is unlimited and offers additional benefits such as lodging discounts and Guided First Tracks, is $899.

The Super Senior Pass that provides unlimited skiing for ages 70 and above will remain at $399. In total, there are five different ALL FOR ONE PASSES.

Prices will rise Oct. 26 to $1300 for the Platinum and $1100 for the Gold. Bronze and Silver All For One Passes will not be available.

The ALL FOR ONE is the first multi-resort product to offer skiing and riding at six resorts. When it was unveiled earlier this summer, Chip Carey, senior vice-president of sales and marketing, said the passes were modeled after last winter’s highly successful Sunday River and Attitash interchangeable season pass. The Company used consumer surveys and researched its guests’ skiing habits in developing the passes. “We fine-tuned the number we will sell and adjusted blackout dates,” Carey said. “The All For One Pass has been received very well. I am amazed at consumer response to the passes, particularly as we drew closer to the August deadline. We will sell out of some pass types before October 25th.”
