KILLINGTON, Vt. (March 2, 2007) – The month of March is rolling in like a lion at Killington Resort with 19 inches of new snow reported through 12:30 p.m. as snow continues to fall.

Killington currently has 194 open trails heading into the first weekend of March with additional terrain expected to open Saturday, served by 31 lifts. The forecast is calling for snow to continue through Tuesday.

“Nineteen inches of new snow today bring us to more than six feet of snow since February first and the conditions are spectacular!” said Dave Rathbun, vice president of brand management and sales at Killington Resort. For the season Killington has received 162 inches of snow. Killington averages 250 inches annually, including more than 70 inches for the month of March.

Two-to-seven-day Ski and Stay packages are available starting at $97 per person/per night. 800-621-MTNS or www.killington.com.
