Loveland Set to Open October 28

Georgetown, CO, Oct. 28, 2003

Loveland Ski Area officially kicks off the ski and snowboard season Tuesday, October 28, 2003 at 9:00 a.m. “Loveland is excited to usher in the 03-04 season. A long hot summer has Loveland’s guests and staff alike itching to get out and make the first turns of the season and our elevation allows us to cater to this demand,” explains Loveland Marketing Director, Kevin Wright.

Loveland will open with chairlift #1 serving, “Catwalk”, “Mambo” and “Home Run.” This is a top-to-bottom run over one mile in length and 1,000 vertical feet. Base depths will vary 12 to 24 inches. Snowmaking efforts will continue to open additional terrain as conditions permit. Loveland’s web site,

Lift tickets on Tuesday, October 28th will cost $30.00 for adults and$15.00 for children (ages 6-14). Loveland will extend its discountedseason pass and $89 ‘4-Pak’ sales through November 10, 2003. Season passesand ‘4-Paks’ are available online at
