Georgetown, CO. March 4, 2003–On January 29, 2003, Loveland Ski Area’s Sport Shop was honored with SKI Magazine’s Gold Medal Shop Award as one of the top 60 North American ski shops. The winningshops were nominated from 8,000 reader surveys and reviewed by a panel of 12 ski industry experts made up of presidents, VP’s of sales, and other high ranking industry professionals. Shops were rated in six categories: staff expertise, selection, price and value, backshop and tuning, boot fitting and innovative programs.
“Sport shops are an important connection to the slopes, they are the first step in a positive ski experience,” explains SKI Magazine senior editor, Joe Cutts. “These are the best shops in North America and we are proud to recognize and honor them.”

Hat Trick Demo-This package allows skiers the opportunity to test drive, any three, high-end telemark or alpine packages in one day for one low price of $25. Participants will have equipmentselected by trained shop professionals that best suits each skiers ability.
