Arapahoe Basin, CO – (News Release) – Arapahoe Basin’s Mutha’ Hucker Terrain Park opened Saturday, December 17, 2005. The Mutha’ Hucker Terrain Park is the highest terrain park in North America and featurestwo jumps, several rails and boxes including the unveiling of our brand new 30 foot “C Box. More features will be added as snow conditions allow.
Ninety-eight percent of the ski area is open for skiing and riding on a 48-inch midway base. A-Basin has received over 8′ of snow since the start of the season.
Lifts open at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday (9:00 a.m. weekdays). All skier services are available including ski school, rental shop, retail shop, cafeteria and bar.
The best deal to ski or ride Arapahoe Basin is the A-Basin Bonus Pass. The season pass can be purchased for $259 and includes unlimited skiing and riding at A-Basin and five non-transferable ski days at Keystone orBreckenridge anytime during the 2005-2006 ski season (One day can even be used at Vail or Beaver Creek – restrictions apply). Bonus pass quantities are limited.
