Danbury, NH, Nov. 15, 2001–Ragged Mountain, NH is readying itself for a season full of additions. Having undergone a huge expansion last summer the ski area will boast the first six-seat chair in New Hampshire, five new trails, and an expanded terrain park for 2001/2002. The new $2.2 Million 6-Pack Express will replace the summit double giving skiers a five minute ride from base to summit.
Not only will the new chair allow skiers to access all runs off Ragged Peak, Northeast Peak, and Big Rock Basin, but Ragged Mountain’s new snowmaking enhancements will give its trails a more consistent surface. Twenty-thousand more feet of piping and 60 new snow guns grace the slopes.
