The Mountain 2,600 skiable acres with bowls, chutes and glades; 4,133 vertical feet; baseelevation 3,900 feet; summit elevation 8,033 feet; 96 runs; 300 inches of average annual snowfall; 4 lifts, including the eight-person Golden Eagle Express Gondola, two quad chairs and one double. Ticket prices: US$37.
Lodging
At Whispering Pines, 3- and 4-bedroom townhouses at the mountain start at about US$77 per person per night for six people, and include lift tickets. Rooms at the new Vagabond Lodge will start at about US$115, and include lift tickets and continental breakfast. Book through the resort’s central reservations number or web site (see below).
