Mascot Mania
For the 2002 Olympic Games, local Utah designers created Powder the Hare, Copper the Coyote and Cole the Bear as the official mascots. Each mascot was inspired by petroglyphs of indigenous animals etched on cave walls by Utah’s first inhabitants. Pam Dion, Park City resident and Ram Apparel owner, makes all three fleece Mascot Puppet hats in two sizes ($26-$28). Call 435-649-8922, or visit www.saltlake2002.com.
