Bogner is making big waves this season with its new selection of pants for women. “The most remarkable difference in the women’s skiing line is the strong optical focus-more silence on the jackets and more music on the pants,” explains Bogner designer Gotthardin Thylmann.
With patterns ranging from bold pony prints to delicate Hawaiian flowers, the new pants sing. “We wanted to make pants a little more fun,” says Brian Mangione, Bogner’s executive VP of sales and marketing. “How many black ski pants can one own? You need to liven it up a bit.” Some styles are designed to go straight from the slopes to the aprés-ski scene: With one quick pull of a zipper, the lower leg transforms to a bell bottom for a more stylish look.
Judging from the reaction when our model wore the pony print to Winter Park, Colo., these new styles are sure to turn heads.
