Copper Mountain, CO (News Release April 9, 2003) Sunsation 2003 returns to The Villageat Copper April 11 – 13, 2003 for a third year of music, animation, and ofcourse, spring skiing. Presented by KMX Energy Drink, Coors Light, Jim BeamMusic and Chevy Trucks, Sunsation marks the end of the winter season andcelebrates the coming of summer. Visitors will enjoy a festival-likeatmosphere complete with free concerts, games, the 18th annual Eenie WeenieBikini Contest and more.
Musical legends Toots and the Maytals and Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe willshare the stage with up-and-coming pop-punk sensations the Riddlin’ Kids andMXPX. Local favorites Sucker and Martini Shot will round out the weekend.Concerts will be held outside in Burning Stones Plaza and all performancesare free to the public. On Sunday, Copper’s 18th annual Eenie Weenie BikiniContest, hosted by Summit County’s own Biff America, will take place at 4pm.This infamous contest is open to anyone brave enough to strut their stuffdown Main Vein in front of thousands of onlookers.
