Telluride, CO, Dec. 9, 2003–An early season winter storm dropped nine inches of new snow in the past 24 hours on the southern Colorado resort making for a 27-inch base at the top of the mountain.
It’s still snowing and the National Weather Service is calling for additional accumulations between three to six inches overnight. If it continues to snow, more terrain off Lift 6 and 9 is expected to be open by this weekend.
