One 12-year-old Utah boy may never wear a backpack again. As Anthony Trabert skied off a lift at Park City earlier this season, his backpack straps snagged the safety bar. Trabert was left hanging nearly 30 feet off the snow. After several minutes of struggling, he managed to kick off his skis, wiggle out of his pack and drop down, miraculously escaping injury. “I thought I was going to die,” Trabert told a Salt Lake television station. Trabert returned to the slopes the following weekend -without his backpack.
