Okemo, VT Feb. 4, 2004 — Fresh snow is like fresh bread. You gotta to get it while it’s Fresh. Vermont skiers are celebrating the overnight dump of a foot of snow over local resorts. Here’s the two that received the most snow:
Okemo Mountain Snow ReportAfter a huge snow last night that dropped 8 – 10 inches of new snow, Okemo is at full capacity; Okemo now has all 113 trails open, which are fluffy soft. If you’re into the deep stuff then be sure to check out Vortex, Quantum Leap, Upper Fall Line, Triple Sec, Stump Jumper, Defiance, and Exhibition. The sun has been peeking through variable cloud cover and the temperature is 33 degrees at the base and a toasty 23 degrees at the summit.
Stratton Mountain Snow ReportStratton Mountain reports almost a foot of powder fell overnight creating excellent skiing conditions. On a day like today, you’ll find pow on runs like Slalom Glade, Spruce, Liftline, Grizzly Bear! Don’t forget to scope out the powder in the glades!
