SKI Magazine’s Co-Director of Instruction Marcus Caston spends every summer with campers and characters at Timberline on Mt. Hood, Oregon, to teach at Party Beach Ski Camps. This past summer, he teamed up with fellow Blizzard Skis pro athlete Connery Lundin to make a short film about the pleasures of turning on Mt. Hood’s famously buttery corn. During filming for the third episode of Return of the Turn, Caston and Lundin encountered a massive swarm of butterflies, combining skiing and Planet Earth for a surreal experience on snow.
