Launched in 2010, A Skier’s Journey, is a globally-acclaimed short film series directed by Canadian filmmaker and photographer Jordan Manley.

In 2014, about to embark on the final season, Manley crashed while mountain biking, resulting in a concussion serious enough to put the season on hold. Nearly 10 months later and close to fully recovered, he hit his head again, resulting in a setback even worse than his initial concussion, putting A Skier’s Journey on indefinite hold.

This year Manley made a full recovery and picked up where he left off to direct the final three episodes: Iran, China, and British Columbia’s Coast Mountains. The final season doesn’t just focus on the glamor of big-mountain skiing, but the human experience and culture of each special location.
