In the second episode of season two of “Originate,” Michelle Parker dives into Jackson Hole, Wyo. with professional snowboarders Alex Yoder, Nick Russell and Mark Carter and professional photographer Aaron Blatt. Parker and Carter shoot with Blatt in the backcountry for the “Jackson Hole Exposed Photo Showdown 2019” competition.
The episode later explores Carter’s life as a rancher and challenges the expectations of what life as a pro snowboarder looks like. The episode concludes by exploring Parker’s newfound connection to Jackson Hole and her drive to return and conquer all that the Grand Teton has to offer. While the pros are doing some serious hard work in the backcountry, they don’t take themselves too seriously in this episode.
